Our weekend at Seim Camping in Røldal was nothing short of delightful! The traditional Norwegian cabin, Eldhuset, where my friends and I stayed was a charming retreat after a day of exploring the stunning surroundings. The cozy interior with heated floors and a kitchen provided us with everything we needed, including a private bathroom and a lovely patio to soak in the views of the mountains and waterfalls.The friendly owners made our stay even more special, and we couldn't resist indulging in the freshly baked bread and buns from the on-site bakery on Saturday morning. The atmosphere was truly inviting, with a cute pony visiting our cabin for treats, adding an extra touch of magic to our experience.The location of Seim Camping was perfect for us as we ventured to see the Hardangerfjord and Eidfjord, with plenty of activities like fishing, cycling, and canoeing nearby. Despite the overcast skies, the beauty of the area still shone through, and we appreciated the well-equipped cottage with its fireplace and kitchen essentials.The self-catering option was not only budget-friendly but also provided the homely comfort we desired, complete with a heater to keep us warm and dry our clothes. The proximity to amenities like the shower and toilet facilities, as well as the ski path by the lake, added convenience to our stay. Seim Camping exceeded our expectations, offering a fantastic blend of nature, comfort, and warm hospitality that truly made our weekend unforgettable.
